Museo Nacional

The first place we visited with Cristina was the National Museum. It was filled with mostly replicas of some of the most famous and pertinent Incan and Ecuadorean items. Cristina was hoping we would see the large golden sun, but of course, it was being cleaned. The people at the museum were very impressed with Cristina's English, and I hope she considers becoming a docent there. She would do a great job! We enjoyed seeing some of the unique artifacts of early Ecuador, and if Don had not left one of our umbrellas at the museum, it would have been a perfect visit!
