What am I going to do with Nelson? For the last year or so, he has been a Nervous Nelly in the car, but it is escalating and getting much worse. We tried a melatonin supplement, but they have ceased working. We tried a prescription motion-sickness pill – no effect. We tried Xanax – the first one did nothing, but the second one finally worked to some degree.
He shakes and shivers when we are driving, walks back and forth . . . tomorrow we are trying Benadryl to see if it will knock him out. Please, oh please. He is so miserable, but once the RV or the car stops, he is fine.
Jordy, on the other hand, is unphased with the travel. Hoping Snelly can get that way, too!
