When we were picking blueberries with Betsy, we noticed the low-bush cranberries were also ready for picking. I had never done anything with cranberries before, but I decided to pick some and see what I could do.
After finding a recipe on cranberry sauce, I boiled them and added sugar. That's it. And are they yummy! They are almost as thick as jelly much more tasty than cranberries found in the store.
I think I am going to freeze the sauce until Thanksgiving and serve it on Thanksgiving day. Doesn't that sound wonderful?
