We have gone from being tourists to being truckers. I much preferred the tourist mode. Sleep until 7 or 8; have a leisurely breakfast; leave about 10; get to the destination by 3:00 after stopping to see what we wanted to see; set up and see the sights; have a nice dinner.
This is Don in tourist mode:
In trucker mode, we get up and immediately get on the road and drive until we can't drive any more. Trucker mode means fast meals; it means not stopping to see some of the things we would normally see. But in order to make it home in time, that's what we have to do.
