Wineries and Breweries

Jani scheduled a day of wineries and breweries for us, and we got such a great kick out of them. The Cube was our first stop, and it is detailed in the next blog. Then we went to a brewery - Swell - where we had delicious food, Don had a flight of beer, and Jani and Brian met some friends they had not seen in a long time. It was also the brewery with the beer barrel urinals in the men's bathroom.

Last stop was the Goodieson Brewery. Unfortunately, we were all so full that Don only purchased one bottle to take home to watch Aussie football that night. We really liked the brewery, and it was very interesting to talk with the owner. Don found this great wood stove there, and he had to take a picture.

We all wished we could patronise him better, as he took time with us to explain his process. Lots of chemistry involved!! I wonder how many brewers hated chemistry in high school but spend their life using it!
