The Pool Boy

Instead of taking the fast track from Banff to Lake Louise, we took the Bow Valley drive, which was slower but much more pretty.  We had been looking for wildlife the entire way.  At one stop, a woman asked us if we had seen the wolf.  Wolf?  Sadly no.

Then at another stop, Katie asked us if we had seen the huge elk.  Elk?  No elk.  Luckily he was right down the road, so we walked down to see him.  Wow!  He was huge!  He was much bigger than the elk we saw at the cabin, and when he lifted his head to look at us . . . well, I decided the buck could be the gardener, but the elk was definitely the pool boy!  Isn't he gorgeous?
