Good Deals!

When we were in Wichita, Don found a good deal on gadgets . . . Battery-powered lantern, drill, saws all, and skill saw.  Next to it was a battery-powered chain saw, so he bought that, too!  I gave him a little grief, but not much . . . I knew he had a plan.

We used the lantern/flashlight several times when Babs had to go out, and Don used the saws all in Canada when we needed firewood.  But he was really jonesing for a chance to use the chain saw. Sunday night, he got it.

Someone had left some firewood at our camping spot, but it was too long for the fire box.  Don drug the chain saw out, and within a few minutes, the wood was the perfect size.  Although he was not a Boy Scout, his mantra is Be Prepared.  In this case, a good deal has paid off.
