Kootenai Falls and Suspension Bridges

We arose early to go to the Kootenai Falls.  This time no one was there, and the hike was easy without the dogs.  We went down first to the falls which were as spectacular as ever.  I wonder what they would be like at snow melt time.  Imagining what someone like Lewis and Clark would think if they saw falls like that (or worse) makes our head spin.

Then we went over to the suspension bridge.  It currently is built to hold the weight of 5 people, but they are just about ready to open one that will hold 100 people.  It will probably open next week, and it will be much more "bouncy," but the old one is bouncy enough.  Don, Char and I went across, but we neglected to get a picture.  Of course, Woody went, too.  By 10:00 we were done and ready to head on to Fairmont Hot Springs.
