St. Paul's Anglican Cathedral

As we were eating our ice cream for dinner, we happened upon the Anglican Cathedral. The doors were open, so we decided to go inside. The cathedral was rather minimalist as compared with other cathedrals, but it is clearly an active church. We were able to talk with Mother Barbara, one of the priests, who told us that the parish was the first to have a female bishop (in 1990) in New Zealand.
At the back of the church was a prayer wall, so I decided to write the names of some of our friends and family who are having health issues and put them in the prayer wall.
We did not stay for the service, however, though I would have liked to do so. Unfortunately, we were just too tired, but we can't figure out why - we just sat in a car all day. But I guess traveling just makes a person tired.
