Tok

The last time we drove this road, it was under major road construction, so we lucked out. There was very little, and what there was did not affect us like the last time.  Again, the day was rather dreary, and we did not see any wildlife, which was discouraging, but we did see some pretty sights.

This was the day we arrived back in the States . . . and eventually back to cell service for most of our devices.  Even though we had 4G sometimes, it seemed limited, but it was better than "noG," which is what we had throughout much of Canada.  It seems to us that before we start pushing 5G across the nation, we need to make sure everyone at least has 3G!

Don with one foot in each country!
The International Border
Bart's timed picture turned out pretty well!
The sizes of the rivers here astound us.  As we drove into Tok, we crossed the Tanana River.  I had not remembered it being so large . . . and it dumps into the Yukon, which is at least that large before it dumps into it. Everything is big in Alaska!
