Boston

Katie's friend, Chris, arranged to join us on our trip.  I don't know if she knew what she was getting into, but she hasn't fled for home yet.

Chris is from Boston.  So she has a unique Boston accent that has caused us much enjoyment and laughter.  She pahks the cah, latah . . . She was telling us about a restaurant, the Cork and Fork . . . but imagine it without the r.  I thought we might be subjected to an X-rated movie!  We are in Canader, she will see us latah . . .

She has been loads of fun to have around . . . except that she is cute, blonde, slim, funny.   On the way up and down the trail for Lake Agnes, she jogged . . . at least much of the way.  She even brought her exercise bands to work out.  So as we are sitting in the campground or walking Babs at a slow pace, she is using her bands to stay cute and slim.   Maybe we will begin to do the same . . . but not yet.
