'Twas three weeks 'til football
And throughout the RV,
'Cat fans are excited
About what might be.
Karen is nestled in her purple rug,
With Babs beside her, snug as a bug.
Dreaming of passes and runs and what not
In hopes that the playbook will not be forgot.
When what to her dreaming mind should appear
But the Wizard Bill and his quarterbacks dear,
"On Daniel, on Jake and all you on offense,
Stay tough, be ready, no time for nonsense."
"We've got lots to do to better last year,
The fans are expecting no less I do fear,
We must stay focused on winning first place,
Then onto a bowl game to make our case."
She was rudely awakened by the click of the shot,
Her good dream was vanquished; happy she was not.
But she's left with good thoughts 'bout the season to be,
Go Wildcats! Your games, we can't wait to see.
