Hotel Fromtid

We have stayed in beautiful hotels, but today's is especially quaint.  It is in a small town spelled Djupivogur . . . Cannot pronounce it, however.  It is in one of the fjords in the eastern part of the country.  The hotel looks like a Colorado cabin - wood paneling throughout, high ceilings, and wood floors.

From the street:

Our view from our room was the harbor itself:

The dining area:

We were the only ones in the hotel at first, so we had fabulous service!  This is Don's cream of mushroom soup.  Notice all of the cream on top.  Tasty, tasty!

Then Don had rainbow trout, and I had lobster.  The lobster is small, more like a shrimp, but it was plenty filling!

Of all of the hotels we have stayed in, this one has been our favorite.
